Wow, I'm really bad at blogging. Sorry, to anyone who actually reads this.

Well, after many confused moments I now believe that I am going to be a teacher. Journalism is a little too intense and in-your-face for me. For all of you kids out there who love it, good luck.

Have you ever noticed how your fingers get cold after typing for long periods of time? OK, random.

OK, well back to MU on Sunday. Till then.

Look Out Senior Year!

Some things to ponder:

-Where did September and most of October go?!?
-Not graduating in May but rather in August
-Possibilty of a 3rd job interview with a certain company (not journalism related)
-Eavesdropping on a converstation for a class assignment, is that wrong?!?
-Halloween candy -- why are you so tasty?
-Tri Delta Fall Party-4 days and counting
-Being a postman for Halloween!
-Trying new things...and liking them
-Cardinals are in the World Series!

Mmmm, mmmm, good

I've officially devoured my birthday cookies! There were a dozen, frosted smily face cookies and in 3 days I have eaten ALL of them. Oh well, they were damn good. I mean, how can one refuse these delectable treats that have cute faces begging you to bite off their chocolate eyes.

As for being 22-years-old...Whatever. Although my favorite cookies were a great surprise I like my I-pod better. It is currently in St. Louis, (damn those assholes who didn't ship it in time) and I'll get my grubby little paws on it sometime next week.

Labor Day weekend should be a blast. A group of us are hitting it up Lake Ozark Style.

OK, enough procrastinating and on to my editing and intermediate writing homework.

Reality Check

After an amazing semester and a low-key summer, the beginning of classes (at MU) made me feel a million different emotions. I was excited to see friends and familiar faces, nervous (like always) that my writing skills would be the worst in my class and terrified that I will never again have a first day of school. The only thought more horrifying is that I won't experience another first day of school until my children teeter off to kindergarten.

Enough of the freaking out and on to the fun stuff.

I never have to participate in Recruitment again! We got a great pledge class and our bid-day shirts were decent so I was happy.

Once again it is Tri Delta birthday week -- currently we have two down and two to go. Lucky for me we are not exchanging presents -- I'm super poor and can't even afford spring break.

My East Campus apartment is lovely. It is coming together slowly but surely. I'm just happy to have my own room and a shower that I don't have to wear flip-flops in.

Time for bed -- I have to trek over to Lee Hills for a 9:30 and won't return until late afternoon. NIGHT!

DALLAS - Peyton's 21st Birthday Party

In three years of college my friends and I still had not taken a road trip.  Peyton's invitation to TX to celebrate her 21st seemed like a good time to break that trend so Thursday night Stacy, Susie and I buckled up and drove 10 hours to Dallas.  Heidi, Katy and Ali met us there and a good time was had by all.

There is nothing better than 7 Tri Deltas, a birthday, a pool and a margarita machine.  It is weekends like these that make me never want to grow old.

Float Trip

Beer, porta-potties, fire, music and Frat boys...

Q: What more could you ask for? A: ASPIRIN!

This is a question to all of you males -- What is the fascination with your butt and penis, and why do you insist on showing them to ALL of your friends?
